I have this theory that bookshops are the perfect place to buy holiday presents. Books cover so many topics and tell so many stories, there really can be something for everyone. And who better to help you find that perfect gift than your local independent bookstore? 

On Monday, December 22nd at 6pm celebrated author Miriam Toews (A Complicated Kindness, All My Puny Sorrows)  and friends will be selling books and serving drinks at Type Queen Street. 

Cider and cookies and books and holiday music and Type Books. Sounds like the perfect Monday before Christmas to me.
