The First Annual Type Book Awards Window

This year, in the midst of awards season, Type decided to throw its own.  On October 15th we announced the shortlist for the First Annual Type Book Awards.

All our staff members, from our Queen Street West and Forest Hill locations, submitted their favourite titles from 2014. Any book. Any genre. Published any year. From any country. The only rules: 1) read by a Type Books staff member this year 2) really really likedFrom a longlist of over 70 titles we narrowed it down to a mere 23. And, cue the drumroll... the 6 winners will be announced on November 7th, 2014.
