A BEAUTIFUL ACHE
Leanne Shapton is our Type Reader for February
Leanne Shapton is a New York-based illustrator, author, publisher, and Type Books darling. Everywhere you turn, you will come across one of her works - The Native Trees of Canada, Swimming Studies, Sunday Night Movies, Women in Clothes, a rabbit laden tote bag , countless cover designs and magazine spreads. Leanne's inspired touch radiates through our Queen Street store.
We are so excited to be celebrating the Drawn & Quarterly launch of her book Was She Pretty? on Saturday, February 6th at 7:30pm. Leanne will be appearing in conversation with author Sheila Heti.
